The West Virginia University Department of Physics and Astronomy, with the support of the National Science Foundation, is pleased to announce the CPHYS Computational Physics Scholarship Program to support individuals pursuing a Physics degree with a Computational Physics Area of Emphasis. The CPHYS Scholarship is a scholarship program that provides up to $10,000 per year to physics students at West Virginia University. The scholarship may be awarded to high school seniors applying to WVU and to current physics students at WVU. The goal of the program is to increase the number of West Virginians pursuing high tech careers in physics and computer science.
Successful applicants for the CPHYS Scholarship will be selected using the following criteria:
